Thinking in platitudes

Running to the mid-point, 22/13, is my play after which I have an important spare to play with. Ahead in the race I can afford to make a calm move, strengthening my position.
Coming off the anchor with 20/11* leaves four blots and is just too loose. White has several double-hitting numbers from the bar which will probably end with me being doubled out or maybe even too good to double for White.
Hitting and covering the ace point, 6/1* 6/2, is worse for me when White rolls a ace and hits since I would not have a spare on the mid-point. Even if White dances, doubling would be premature.
