No back game shall go undoubled, or at least not unbeavered.

2-ply has White winning only 26% of the time. That's practically a double from Blue's point of view. Surely he has to win a lot more than that, as the RO shows--he often doesn't have to leave a shot at all, or at least not until he has more checkers off.
