We can play safe with 6/3 or 8/5, or we can risk six shots to make another blocking point with 13/11 6/5.

An additional blocking point would be nice, but I don't think it would block enough to be worth the risk. A third checker back raises the gammon rate considerably.

8/5 looks a bit stronger than 6/3 so I'll go with that.
