is there not a version of this bbs software that allows self-editing of posts?

I believe I can toggle editing on/off by changing a 1 to a 0, I'd have to look, feeling pretty lazy right now. I think initially I had a reason for ppl not editing their own posts though atm I forget what it was. I'll think it over and see if it can indeed be changed.
