Playing 8/5 seems attractive since the 8-point has two spares on it right now. That leaves two reasonable 5's, either 11/6 or 23/18. I don't like either one, 11/6 brings the position too much forward, meaning we HAVE to run with the back men very soon, probably next roll. 23/18 leaves a blot on one of the points Stick mostly wants to make, I think he'll be happy to hit loose there. My play will be 23/15. Disregarding the long-distance shots of 65 and 66, this blot may be hit if a) Stick rolls a 1, which also is good for making our 4-point, or b) Stick gives up his midpoint.
