Because the take point is so high and the gammon potential so great I'd say it's a double. I'd still take because I have a sickness when it comes to these decisions, but the gap on Black's 4 and 5-points is very inviting and the dead man on his ace point is a huge liability. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a blunder (like an old matron reduced to working the seedier side of the red light district I've seen them in all shapes and sizes) but when I think my opponent's gammons are the key to a play and I see that he's taken a man out of commission already I get sorely tempted. If anyone who actually has a clue would care to weigh in please proceed.
