8/5 24/22 play on both sides of the board whenever feasible. and here it's a bit more than feasible. 8/5 puts a builder on the 5 and 24/22 challenges the ominous checker on white's 9 point. white is virtually forced to do something with his 9 point blot or attack on the 22 --- either of which give us plenty of counterplay. if we can't run the last guy, our race advantage is for naught.
