There are several good ways to play this roll. That's the problem with an early 33. It is the most difficult of doublets in the early game.

Using two dice to advance the anchor (either to the 21pt or the 18pt), and then making an inner board point with the other two (either the 3pt or 5pt), will certainly improve things for Yellow. Any of the combinations is constructive, but I think making the 18pt, which protects the blot there, would be my choice. Inside, I like the 5pt more than the 3pt.

The play I can't get out of my head, however, is making both the 3pt and 5pt. OTB, that would be my choice. Black may be reluctant to hit loose, so the biggest problem would be if he rolled a number that allowed him to point on his bar point.
