In Response To: Your Early Game Test (Stick)

#1 I'd play 24/18 6/4* because it does something at both sides of the board. 13/7 gives about the same return hits but I think the 18 anchor is a bigger asset here than our 7 point.
#2 Anchoring on the 24 point settles for a priming game with a disadvantage. I think we can do better than that and should play bar/20 with the 5. Then 11/10 with the ace because I think 6/5 is too big.
#3 I like to hit on both 5 points here. First of all the hit on the 20 point gains some race, second he has 13 numbers which don't hit back, after which our position is great.
#4 Here I would lock up our 5 point with 11/5. Our board is worse than his so I don't feel like entering a blot hitting contest.
#5 I like our position after 13/8 7/5. Making the 3 point leaves too many fly shots for too little gain imo.
