1. 18, 4* hit & split

2. 24, 8 extra checker in the zone is valuable. entering on the 20 guarantees a hitting battle and he'll probably have the best of it

3. ** invitation to hitting contest accepted

4. 22, 5 an asset

5. 5, 8 nice developing play. if he anchors on the 22 sobeit. we can start extraction of the back guys next with a nice board in place. 5 & 3* looks a little overextended to me. the risk of being hit off the 22 doesn't make up for the gain when not hit.
