I am playing 24/16(2) here every time. If XG says it's the wrong answer I will make up that equity and then some because the game is much more simplified for me after that play. Most of my plays going forward will be much easier with this variation. I'll make more mistakes with 24/20(2) 6/2(2), figuring out how to get my 2 checkers on the 20 point home safely later.

Also, I like the idea of being able to break my midpoint more readily and use those checkers as builders for inner board points.
