A nice 44 to play at DMP

Making the 20 point is a next. For the next part we can either continue running out to the 16 point, or make either the 9,4 or 2 points. My first instinct was to run all the way out to the 16 point being ahead 19 pips after the roll. But Whites position is stripped and stacked, so running out to the 16 point seems to take the pressure off whites midpoint by allowing him to play his spares into his home board without too much bother. The difference in board strength also concerns me with the running play, when black leaves shots the hits really hurt, this leads me to look at another way to bring this home. Making the 9 point feels a bit like desertion, making the 4 point looks nice but leaves a blot to either be hit or cleaned up if missed, making the 2 point seems just right...it adds muscle to our board, unstacks a heavy point, leaves no shots and keeps a nice landing spot for the back men (8 point). A very interesting position :)
