OTB, of course I stepped up 24/20(2) and then I was pretty sure 6/2(2) was best since it leaves no blot and I have 6 checkers on my 6 pt that need to be deployed. If I come out to the 16 pt I don't leave my opp nearly as many bad rolls and may quickly be in trouble if I can't play safely next roll.
13/9(2) also is not best as I won't really be happy if my opp hops a checker past and I still have that 6 pt stack to deploy.
There's no need to panic when back on the opp's 20 pt and all he blocks from there are your 1's.
