The thought of going down to 1a8aCR is depressing, and the chance of winning being clearly present, so I'd expect Black has his take and reship. (What's with your non-covering 6s? Even 66 leaves a shot. And the chance of winning the race isn't even totally out the window, either.)

I'd wimp out on the sending cube here. I have a principle I follow when in doubt for both plays and cubes: (say this with a deep and ominous tone) "You don't mess with a closed board!"

And who knows, you might roll one of your best numbers and score a gammon!
