OTOH I think White should take if he's clearly the weaker player. The reason is that White's position is pretty easy to play. White won't make any mistakes if he dances or enters and hits a fly shot. If White enters and escapes, he'll end up with a midpt vs. barpt holding game which is also pretty easy to play. If White dances for a while and then enters with an ace, his GP will also be pretty obvious and easy to play well - build up his board and wait for a shot.
