the problem with the 2 point is that it gives up too much outfield control while turning a solid 4 prime in to a gapped 4 prime. with fewer chances to make the 3 or 8 points (both of considerable value here) also, white's dancing is not such a bad thing for him, since it allows him to keep his board. my default play in this position would b3 18/14 18/13, but i could be persuaded into considering one of the loose hit plays, which leave us with a decent 2 point game.
