I'd be stunned if a 8/7 slot were better than the 6/5 slot here.

I used to play these 23 and 5 but have been blown away several times by weak players' lucky dice. After some thought I think that 24 4 is a tad better than 24 11. I'd probably play 24 4 vs most weaker players although I suspect 23 5 will be very slightly ahead in the rollout.
