At first I thought there wasn't a chance in hell that I'd double this. Then I looked at the score. There must have been some plausible way to reach this position without turning the cube, but I can't figure out what it was.

Yeah, I'd double. White doesn't have many threats, but his position can withstand another roll (he runs with 5's or 6's, and little numbers play inside), whereas Blue's position is on the brink of collapse. Looking at it that way, am I still so sure it's a take?

Blue has some good things going for him: White could roll really ugly and his open 4 point causes permanent problems for him. If White does roll horribly, Blue won't have the same recube vig that he would for money, but he will be two points closer to ending the match.
