The position after the safe play is hideous and can leave multiple shots and also a double blot. If out opps had their 4 pt covered I think I'd vote to play safe and hope but here, I think we can clearly afford some risk to try to make our future much easier.

Therefore, 6/3(2) and 7/4 and look for the 4th three. That should be 6/3, partially to dupe 6's and leave fewer hit and cover rolls noting 55 hits and covers if we leave the blot on the 6 pt, but more importantly to have a spare on the 3 pt for a later safer bearoff and to be able to counter attack on the ace pt.

Note that it is quite gammonish for our opps to hit us with out covering. Also, when we are hit later after the safe play, we will often have little chance to counter attack as our builders are mostly gone, and our opps will have at least a 4 pt board.

6/3(3) 7/4 is the best way to pay off and what we must do, IMO.
