At the risk of getting hit with otherwise bad aces, playing two out makes us a favorite to be the favorite by becoming the side that's bearing in against the anchor instead of the other way around.

6-6 4-4 and 6-4 also hit, but they're all good numbers for Stick anyway. See how you like our game if we play 7/1 6/2 and then Stick plays 22/8(2), 22/18(2) 6/2(2) or 22/16 22/18.

Seems to me that 22/18 22/16 puts one of us closer to a double, and it's usually us. 7/1 6/2 keeps the cube in the middle for a while with timing favoring Stick; with our 5-point board and 3-prime we're as good as we can get and will usually get worse. Stick doesn't have many pointmaking numbers but he can also slot and then point, or hop out nicely with 6s-5s-4s combinations.

We didn't run last roll, why now? Running now is a lot less dangerous than it was with 6-1 last roll. We're ahead, let's -- most any future shots Stick gets will be only indirect -- race.
