"foremost ambassador"?

In Response To: 2015 Texas Backgammon Championships -- San Antonio -- Mochy's Proficiency Exam (Bill Riles)

There is no question that Mochy is currently the best player, but to crown him "foremost ambassador" might be a stretch. He is a great ambassador, and I respect and support and have personally thanked him for all the good things he does for the game, but it seems to me that to insult Carter like this is not really necessary.

The case for Carter:

1. He has won more major tournaments this year than anyone;

2. He travels around the world more than Mochy...it's getting close, but I believe Carter still wins;

3. Carter ratio of contributing to the prize pool compared to what he takes out of it is far greater than Mochy.

4. You always know when Carter is in the room...with Mochy you have to look around.

5. Lastly, I think it was very well stated by a good friend of mine: "When Carter is around I always feel so much better about myself."
