Well, I don't feel too bad about making the DMP play, and at a normal match score the equity loss is quite small.

AtS, the gammon value with the cube at 2 is almost 1, or twice the normal value. The additional gammons gained by maintaining contact and making the third home board point outweigh the extra single point losses.
