XG Option?

I doubt that I would use this option myself. I agree that if the opponent is playing very fast then there is a temptation to play too fast, and this is bad, but IMO the solution to train oneself not to play too fast under such circumstances, rather than to slow down the opponent. As an analogy, consider the pip count. If the pip count is not displayed then there is a temptation to skip counting pips even when one should, and this is bad, but IMO the solution is to train oneself to count pips when necessary, not to display the pip count.

If XG could be made to delay itself in a human-like way then that might be interesting, but unfortunately there's no (easy) way to program XG to figure out which kinds of decisions a human would make quickly and which ones a human would take a lot of time over.
