My first instinct was to make the 5pt, and try to win with our block. The numbers convinced me to hit. If we do not hit, the Dillies could escape with any 6. In addition, they could hit and point in their home board with 11, 21, 31, 32, and 33. Not hitting gives them 19 very good rolls.

Hitting takes the initiative away from them, and leaves 14 returns from the bar, plus whatever they care to risk in their home board. The vulnerable blot in their home board might take the sting out of some of those return shots.
