Several options, none particularly desirable.
After our move, the race is about even. We've both made our 5 points. White has an advanced anchor, while we're still sitting on his ace. We've made his 7 point --and a three prime-- and have his 8 point slotted. Our game plan should be to extend the prime and get something going with our back checkers.
24/22 13/7 - Splits the back checkers, but/and leaves the blot/slot on the 8. Nice if missed, but we're down in the race if hit. Yet White must move off his anchor to hit. And we could make a good anchor.
13/7 8/6 - is safe for now, but gets nothing going on White's side of the board. And what do we do for an encore other than dump checkers behind White's anchor?
24/22 8/2 is also safe, splits the back checkers, but dumps a checker behind White's anchor.
24/16 - dups hitting 4s, but separates the back checkers. And White would rather hif off his mid than his anchor anyway.
24/18 8/6 - safeties our blot on the 8 (while overtacking the 6), and splits our back checkers while keeping them connected. Yet, our checker on White's bar point sure looks vulnerable.
I'm really not sure, but I think I'll take my chances with 24/22 13/7.
