The luck metric

Great players make a lot of their own luck. If Smith plays in such a way that maximizes his good rolls and minimizes his opponent's consistently better than Jones than of course Smith will get more good rolls and a higher luck factor. Somebody (Carter?) mentioned an event where each player plays two simultaneous games, each having the dice of their opponent on the second board. (That was the worst way to describe that. Hopefully it's clear what I mean despite my inarticulateness.) I suspect, over the long run, the stronger player would have the better luck factor average even though they shared the same dice.
