I see 21 as a huge swing roll if you run in the left diagram; it plays constructively anyway in the right diagram. Also, 42 becomes a powerhouse roll if you run in the left diagram, but not so much in the right diagram. Also, of course, white has one more hitting roll in the left diagram than in the right diagram if blue runs.
Just my 2 cents and waiting for true experts to chime in.
