Make the 4pt?

The 4p is the pure play and it's still a blocking point. The problem is that we will struggle to make the bar.

On the other hand when we make the bar and diversify, then we also make a blocking point and we have a decent shot at making the 4 naturally.

I reckon it is close but will go with my instinct play which is to make the 4. It is generally a good idea to play pure in priming battles.
