It is often right to leave some jokers at this score in exchange for the chance to make the five anchor. For example / see below. In this position, it is better to take a chance of being drilled on the five point rather than splitting 24-23, 13-9 in relative safety with less upside. When the five anchor is made, it liberates the rest of one's game from the natural caution of GS. It pays to try for it early. This is a theme worth remembering.
