Seeding players according to the Calcutta prices

With all due respect, the greatest problem with seeding players is that some people cannot realize what a terrible idea this is. Seeding players was tried a couple of times 30 to 40 years ago and was met with much criticism.

WTF can't everyone in the event be treated the same? They all pay the same entry fee and deserve similar treatment.

Seeding players according to Calcutta prices is a terrible idea for many reasons including:

1) It would allow players who want preferential seeding to pay more for themselves by making sure that they sell for the highest auction price.

2) Most Calcuttas have many players put onto teams to speed up the Calcutta. How, then would we decide who the top seed is?

Enough from me as seeding players in BG is utter BS.
