Suppose a player doesn't give a darn about the match being recorded. Will he have to give up his right to roll for color of the dice? Will the corrections to the system be done on opponent's clock time.

I saw once that a player in the middle of the game said he needed to change the battery on his camera. The opponent told him to use his clock time as he saw fit. Is that a reasonable position to take if one does not want the file? I think it is.
