From my perspective of preferring NLM, I view your device as removing a major objection to LM.

Playing LM makes you vulnerable to an opponent who selectively reports them. While I think most people don't cheat, some certainly do. The brisk sale in baffle boxes is Exhibit 1.

So with a device that enforces LM, I will still prefer NLM -- it makes me a better player when I pay for my mistakes -- but I will be more comfortable with LM when 100% of them are detected.
