Thanks for posting Phil. What did you play?

I like 24/18 10/9. If you are note hit, you are close to escaping your last checker and reverting to a race in which you lead. If you get hit, you may hit back, and if you do not hit back, at least you'd have made a good point.

8/2*/1* is weak because it leaves a direct, strips the 8, and is too blotty - try putting that together on the next roll if missed! 13/7 8/7 makes a good point, but strips the 8, and leaves 7s, 8s and 9s to hit on our side of the board - not good when ahead in the race. And neither of these plays tries to get the last back checker home.

BTW - I have seen much worse blunders than this on the videos!
