Over the board, I would certainly play 18/13 16/10. Yet here, the quiz factor comes into play. 16/5 will give a nice checker distribution helping to make the 3-point. On the other hand, it leaves 24 shots instead of 11. 18/7 doesn't improve the checker distribution as efficiently as 16/5 does, but leaves four shots more than 18/13 16/10. To a certain degree, 18/7 seems to be neither fish nor fowl. Honestly, I can't see the convincing benefit of 16/5. It creates a smooth distribtion, but is too risky in my opinion. Therefore, I stick to 18/13 16/10.
