Scrambling two checkers home

16/5 pressures opp's midpoint, trying to pick up another blot, while the risk of succesful attack is almost null due to our prime. First "but" is that even if we pick the third checker, our gammon chances still aren't high. Second "but" I see is that after attack opp can improve his racing chances while we stay on the bar for a turn or two. He's owning the cube, so the game will be played to conclusion.
While such play may be technically correct (and probably is due to QF here), I find it too fancy for me. I feel such plays are much more often wrong than not.
