A double direct is 20 shots. Worth memorizing. After that we add an extra shots not already counted which in this case is only [22] so 21 shots. Your count was off.

Your gammon's won estimation is also off. I've seen a lot of this type problem and assuming we have decent timing to pick up the second checker just cut the gammon rate of two men being closed out in half and you'll be close.
