This is close to a last roll of the game situation. Blue's roll should usually decide the game. Blue will hit 21/36 times and about 8 of those 21 will end up being gammons. Blue is positive 14 for 36 games. Easy double/take.

This is not exactly a last roll situation. Blue may hit and lose or not hit and win (if blue doesn't double), but these are rare enough that we can assume that those games won't make up the difference.
