I think playing two up gains in relative equity compared to the second roll 52S-32 because you already unloaded one checker off the midpoint. Also, by making the bar point you started a priming formation, so why hit? White has no diversified builder in the outfield, hence no need for tempo hits. This would be my thought process and my choice would thus be reduced to playing two up or splitting.
