I think you're on the wrong track here and stepping while leaving two blots in the outfield is on a collision course with the Burger King Express. If you want to step up, usually quite wrong when the opp wants to pound you with little fear, MUCH better would be 11/10 making a likely useful point and consolidating twp blots.

However, I don't like stepping up at all, and will just make the 9 pt which is quite useful since it bears on ALL the open points in my board.
