New Baffle Box Option

I totally agree that seeing the clock times is important information. But clocks, baffle boxes and scoreboards CAN all fit into a screen. It might require a smaller scoreboard and/or placing it just behind the clock or baffle box, but it certainly can be done. Another space saver is to have scores displayed in the bear off trays, which you sometimes see employed.
Unless joining a streaming mid game, the second problem should seldom occur if one is focused on the match. I'm sure I've seen streaming where a marker, or the dice roll switches on the screen, indicating the player on roll. Another incidental indicator is the light that Saiteks and some other clocks have, next to the player whose clock is running.
When a player very experienced with baffle boxes plays, he will almost certainly notice if his opponent does not roll through the box. If honest, he will point this out, regardless.
Unless a player is inexperienced with dice cups, it is highly unlikely that he would roll straight onto the board from the hand, which may therefore be the best option for a player new to a baffle box.
If also using cups with the box, it may help if an inexperienced player has the box on his left. If he rolled straight onto the board it would surely be to the right of the bar; not also having the baffle box there should help him notice if he neglects to roll through it.
