Pitt DMP play

Interesting. 8-5x-3 doesn't look right but it's hard to find a good play here. Making the 9? That gives White 16 non-escapers but 7 of those make the 20 and 33 advances the prime. 6-3 6-4x? Unstacks the 6 but it's hard to find many winning sequences after this play. PoH on the 5? Still leaves that big stack on the 6 and costs you the 7-point. I think you need to do everything you can to try and build a containing prime so the kamikaze 8-5x 6-4x is my play. White misses everything with 5 numbers after which you're very much alive. You're also doing alright when White hits on the 3 or 4 but you re-enter and cover the 5. One other consideration is that there are no g's at DMP. If the roof caves in and White hits everything, at least you can't be g'd. Plus you'll probably end up with a well-timed low anchor game and possibly even a playable backgame. 5x 4x looks best to me.
