This is a typical "iron balls" Backgammon double. The opponent is on the bar, and we aim to hit the second PF's blot, with a very good chance to do that - hit 6's & 2's plus 33,51 & 54 - a total of 25 hits. We own 5-6 points in our inner board - good enough here to aim on hitting the second blot & build the other inner points, & that might not be so easy for the opponent to re-enter from the bar with two men pretty soon. Even if our blitz will not succeed ,or succeed partly - the opponent's position let us play a confident counter play. The score also claims for doubling - its even, 5 points till the end. We MUST take this chance to get the initiative in our hands, hoping to get ahead , maybe with a gammon - & that would be a great achivment at this score - we get Crowford. Maybe, we will not get a chance like this anymore. DOUBLE/ONLY! ;-)
