Congrats to Victor. Not only a great player, but a great gentleman at all times and a true credit to the game.

He is one of many great Russian-born players...he may be the best, maybe Dmitry, and of course there are several others including Slava and Sergey that come to mind.

What is also outstanding about Victor is that he has a very high-pressure, high level job and is able to perform well there as well as in backgammon.

Nice to see him getting this recognition.
