I would usually quickly make OUR 5 point. Offense before defense. But the match score causes me to pause a little here. It's probably the case that making WHITE'S (rather than our) 5 point provides some gammon safety and leads us to get gammoned less often. But, OTOH, making the offensive play leads us to gammon White more often, and gammons are still useful to us. So, while I might make White's 5 point at GS, I'm going to make OURs here.
