I honestly thought that 8/6 was a Next! and wondered why Stick stopped play here. After reading replies here, I can see that it is hardly clear in readers minds.

Still, I really think 13/11 is horrible since it leaves a blot that we don't need to leave, gives Stick good 4's for no apparent reason, and as I've been alluding to, with the 5pt made I don't see much upside for this play. Yes it is a builder, but it is also a blot in direct range of a skinny man's checker. How do we play 5's next turn for example? This is better? Merde.

8/6 for me, and if my doubles partner wants to play 13/11 we'll have a fight.
