Moriarty of course, and certainly not Lestrade of Scotland Yard!

I don't have XG, so I'm not sure if Blue's opening play is correct by XG standards. I have my doubts about White's reply, also. OTB, I would play it differently. However... perhaps this is 'The Final Solution', or maybe 'A Study in Scarlet' is a clue. When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

Blue rolls 41, playing 24/23, 13/9

White rolls 43, playing 24/21, 6/2*

Blue rolls 33, playing bar/22, 9/3, 6/3

White rolls 65, playing 13/2

Interesting that there should be a 65 roll included in this puzzle, which is usually played as a "lover's leap". When Holmes and Moriarty presumably tumbled to their deaths from atop the Reichenbach Falls while engaged in mortal combat....that most certainly was not a lover's leap :) However, had Irene Adler been there....awww, you'll have to read it for yourself :)
