Yes, it should change many plays for example, 62S 42 should now be played P I guess. Also wondering what happens in case of double hits - if you then stay out with a single 6, does that count under these rules? If so, a 65 reply to a 6x split cannot be used for a double hit anymore, etc. 64 - I'd play P now to avoid this scenario against me. Etc.
