Bar/23, 13/8 is safe but too passive and it strips the midpoint. Bar/20, 13/11 leaves us under the gun and the 11 point builder also strips the midpoint and is not useful since we have already made our 5 point. We have an advanced anchor, our 2 point board matches Stick's in strength and we have 4 men back to Stick's one man back and we also have a large racing deficit. I think this calls for an action play. We should step out to the bar point to provoke Stick into hitting us, and hopefully we will come out ahead in a blot-hitting contest.

Bar/18 for me.
