I most likely would have played 13/8 over the board. But 8/6, 8/5 allows us to play a 6 next roll safely. With 13/8, we have to either break our board or leave a shot all 6's except 61 & 66. Also, by playing 8/6, 8,5 if we get a 61 next roll, we can stand pat in the outfield and just make our 5 point...assuming they don't break their 18 or 13 points, which they likely wouldn't do unless they get some doubles.
