Yes, it would be great to analyze the match on say 2-ply and write a routine for checkerplay rollouts WHILE analyzing it on 2-ply on every doubtful move that you made.
To my knowledge, that is not possible. Maybe it is possible NOW with the latest build of gnubg AND python scripts, but 2.5 years ago when I tried to get tings like this running (with python support of gnubg) it was not possible (...at least for me?!)
Probably the python thingy in GnuBG was too buggy, too.
So what I do is go through my match within GnuBG and occasionally copy& paste the PosID and MatID into the said txt file, and later run it on the commandline.
Gives me a ton of positionfiles that I skip through from time to time.
Besides, the 2ply analysis errorrate is already a good indicator for your skill and your progress (unless you are a steady 2.5 player). And, IMHO, you should concentrate on your learning tools instead on the perfect tool to measure your current skill.
Cheers, Klaus
